When Al journeyed to the United States from Colombia in 1970, he found a home here in Sherman. With a love for mechanic work and cars, he found a job at the Chevy dealer and had to start at the bottom washing cars. Because of his tenacious work ethic, unwavering integrity, and mechanical genius he quickly worked his way through the ranks of the dealership and became the top mechanic within 2 years always striving to learn anything and everything new. Nothing could hold him back and soon he found himself in the position of assistant service manager. Always looking for new opportunities and challenges Al decided to be his boss and Motor Masters was born. Since 1980 Al has grown his business on the grounds of "Honesty, Courtesy, and Dependably" and creates an environment where people can get the truth about repairs, respectful and courteous treatment, and dependable quality and service. Motor Masters is in its second generation and we continue to expand to new areas and technologies in automotive and collision repair while ALWAYS giving the customer peace of mind in knowing that we will never sell them a part or service they don't need, treating them as we would want to be treated, and guaranteeing repairs or taking care of any problems. Al was the one who started it all! He also has well over 40 years' experience and knows how to do everything on old cars and new ones. He spends his time running the wrecker, body shop, doing mechanic work, and just about everything.
